Couples Therapy Fees:
- Couples Therapy Initial Intake Session, 2-hours: $300
- Ongoing Couples Therapy Session, 1.5 hours: $225
*Please note, the initial couples therapy appointment is a 2-hour session and all ongoing couples therapy sessions are 1.5 hours. I do not provide 1-hour couples therapy sessions.
Discernment Counseling Fees:
- Initial Intake Session, 2 hours: $300
- Ongoing Session, 90 minutes: $225

Cancellation and No Show Policy:
If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 24-hour notice. Insurance will not cover cancellation charges. This will be your responsibility. Your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the full fee of the missed or late cancelled appointment. Please be mindful that the time of your appointment is reserved especially for you. If you do not show up, that time cannot be used to serve someone else.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully prior to your first appointment. The following questions may be helpful to ask your insurance provider:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
You are responsible for all fees in the event that your insurance does not cover services.
If I am not an in-network provider for your insurance, I encourage you to find out whether you have out-of-network benefits with your specifc plan. Clients with out-of-network benefits may be partially or fully reimbursed for therapy serivces. A majority of clients I work with have insurance that I do not accept and, with their out-of-network benefits, are reimbursed for therapy serivces. What this means is that you would pay the full session fee each session. I would provide you with a superbill to submit to your insruance company upon which they will reimburse you a percentage of the fee. Please check with your insurance company to understand all of your benefits.
A special note about insurance: I do not particiapte with most insurance carriers for several reasons. First, your insurance company requires that I diagnose you with a mental health disorder. Therapy must be deemed "medically necessary" in order for your insruance to cover the services. Clients solely seeking therapy for self-improvement or normal life stressors often times do not meet the criteria for a mental health disorder. Furthermore, insurance companies dictate the length and frequency of therapy. Clients are typically allotted a limited number of sessions per year. Once those sessions have been used, insurance will not cover further treatment. This can create major disruptions in the therapy process and cause significant stress for clients.
