Thank you for your interest in becoming a client and your courage to begin the therapeutic process. I like to speak with each and every client on the phone prior to the first appointment. This will allow us to introduce ourselves to one another and give you the opportunity to share your reasons for seeking therapy. It is also a great way to get a feel for whether we will be a good fit for one another and how we might work together.
During this intital phone call, we will also review fees and payment, scheduling, and directions to my office. I will provide you with the information necesary to access the Client Portal as well. Prior to your first appointment, new clients will need to complete all practice forms. Clients are asked to read and complete the forms in the Client Portal, providing information and signatures as required. Clients who do not complete the forms through the Client Portal prior to their first appointment will be required to complete the forms at the office before being seen. This may result in less face-to-face time during your first session. To avoid this from happening, please prepare and complete all paperwork prior to your first session. We will review these forms during your first appointment at which time I will be happy to answer any of your questions or concerns.
